Features

Held Items Emit Light
Holding torches, lanterns, or any other light emitting block or item will now emit light which illuminates your surroundings!
Mobs Emit Light
Finally, the glow squid actually glows! Now mobs such as glow squids, blazes, allays, and the ghast’s fireballs now actually light up their surroundings! This makes Minecraft feel much more immersive.
Also, mobs on fire will light up their surroundings! This adds extra realism and visual effect.
Offhand Torches
Now torches can be held in the offhand! Not only do they emit light when held, but torches now emit light even in item form. See a deep cave? Drop a torch down and it will illuminate the surroundings!
